On the Ankaran Peninsula there are beaches where you can enjoy yourself, with your friends or/and family. There are bars serving drinks and food on all beaches; safety on the beaches and water rescue is provided too.
You can also find beautiful beaches on the lonely, pebbly and rocky parts of the peninsula coastline. The Slovenian sea is shallow, thus warm and pleasant for swimming during the summer months.
The sea temperature reaches up to 28 degrees Celsius in the warmest days. The Ankaran sea has a rich underwater world of various habitats and is home to many plant and animal species. A free summer holiday bus connects all beaches.
